Acclaimed soul artist Allen Stone will release APART, a new album featuring stripped-down arrangements of fan favourite songs from across his catalogue, on ATO Records.
Stone has won praise from critics and fans alike for his throwback R&B sound and his dazzling vocals, as evidenced across albums including 2019’s Building Balance, 2016’s Radius, and 2012’s Allen Stone.
He recorded the 11 songs of APART at the fabled Bear Creek Studios in his home state of Washington with Grammy-nominated producer Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Brandi Carlile, Vance Joy). “This album was a way to pay homage to the songs that have been my foundational support for the last decade, and to also pay homage to all the people who’ve loved these songs over the years,” says Stone.
APART’s highlights include a duet version of “Bed I Made” with pop star Alessia Cara - winner of the 2018 Grammy for Best New Artist.
