I haven't used this much but it works great. Can tip very easy. Caution with heavy mics please.I see a lot of bad or conflicting reviews on the stand, I don’t really understand because this thing is super sturdy and heavy. Works perfectly for what I use it for on my desk. The base of super heavy cast iron, not wobbly in the least bit. The boom and the riser itself are very well-made, and can support the weight of my microphone just fine! It’s super versatile and adjustable, and could be used for multiple things such as streaming mics, drum mics, instrument mics, or amp mics. I would highly recommend this if you need a budget mic stand for any of these applications!Would have rated this 5 stars if the little rubber feet didn't keep falling out of the bottom of the base. I suppose I could super glue them back in but that extra work that will cause me is why I only rate this 4 stars.Other than that little annoying thing, the stand is very well built and will hold a microphone in ALMOST any angle as long as the base is on a hard surface. If you are planning on setting this on carpet just know that your flexibility will be greatly reduced as it will want to topple over frequently. Also I guess I should have read the description better but this is really meant to sit on a desk. Its not tall enough to sit on the floor if you are standing up.Good value for a small mike stand. Does not feel cheaply designed or made, but balance it a potential issue if boom is fully extended. The weighted base is rectangular, not square, so the stand is more likely to tip over if oriented sideways along the shorter dimension. Does the job I bought it to do, at a great price. So, in case it hasn't been said, when buying a stand read the dimensions, This is a very short stand that is meant to be used to put on short things. Did I say short? But seriously, it's great for an upright piano among other things. So far, it's held up to two shows without having to readjust it (theatre shows, two months long a piece). I wouldn't necessarily use this for the road, but as far as something that's cheap (under twenty) it works great. The base stand holds what I need it to nice and secure without taking much footprint. I can place this right next to the piano and it stays. Can't say that about many other short stand, they need bigger bases. This would also be good for a bass amp or guitar amp. Wouldn't necessarily use it on Kick. It's almost too tall for that one. This mic stand is small, but when I stretched it out to it's maximum capacity, it fit perfectly. I'm using it for voice with a Yamaha keyboard and it fits just where my voice can reach the mic. I place it directly behind the keyboard just aside the music sheet holder and with the mic placed in the stand's clip (comes attached to the stand), my mouth just reach's the mic when I bend forward a little. So if your going to be sitting and want to use it for voice, it's perfect. It is easily adjustable, all connection's can be secured. The price is great, the shipment swift and it was packaged like a gift...l was so happy to receive it, and more than that happy it was usable. My great little stand...I needed a product to hold my microphone and the product does it. I can adjust it and rotate it. For the price, it is great. The main reason I bought this was for it's compact base. The screw on the pivot came out of the box broken in two pieces, The threading on ALL of the screws have cross threaded or damaged the plastic that they screwed into. I've had to use old parts such as the pivotal joint and the boom part from an old K&M stand. The quality of the plastics and the metal are atrocious. If you're looking for a compact mic stand, please look somewhere else.In summary;- ALL threading has cross threaded within 5-10 minutes of being unpackaged- Shoddy plastic- Broken in the box- The base was also rustedIf you're looking at putting a somewhat expensive microphone on this stand, I simply wouldn't trust it.La compré para un micrófono de Bombo de batería y si me salió buena.Cabe mencionar que es fácil de moverse y por ende no lo consideraría como una base extremadamente buena o resistente pero a este precio creo que está bien.that is all parts that i get. where is the base??? no instructions at all. this quality is not allow it to be sell at 30 dollars. Also, does it look similar to the product that i buy?Très bon rapport qualité prixInferior quility, horrible finishing, poor material very delicate. Basically a total rip-off for what what one gets after paying so much. In a nut shell u would feel cheated. Also the picture size and the real unit are two different sizes.
