These are inexpensive, I had no problems with them out of the box. Tried both for connecting microphone to a PA and for connecting powered speakers to a board. Not the best but better than you'd expect for the price and they look cool. I got them because I was a couple short and these work. Eventually, they'll be relegated to back-up status but i just spent a pile of money on equipment and was two cables short of my current needs. If you need inexpensive cable for your immediate use, you could do a lot worse. I'll probably pick up a few more.UPDATE: Furui (or someone) promptly sent me an unsolicited replacement set of the cables and this pair works as expected. I also own an XLR->1/4" Furui cable, which is fully functional as well. That makes it 2/3 success rate, which isn't catastrophic. Of course, that's out of only 3 purchases so don't take that as any type of relevant metric - Furui's actual success rate is likely much higher based on the reviews alone. I'm revising my rating from 1 to 4 stars to reflect this.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I too purchased these cables to power my ribbon mic via Cloudlifter CL-1, which uses phantom power to get the juice out of the mic. Sadly, neither of the two Furui cables pass the phantom power to the mic activator.Unless you're using the cables to tie a present or to hang a heavy painting, I caution you to stay away from this particular brand. If you need the cables for actual music production or performance, you will be sorely disappointed when you find out Furui cables aren't what they promise to be (i.e.: fully functioning mic cables). I am returning mine for a refund.Loved the braided cable and color and the cable felt really good when I unpacked it. Clicked right into my SM58's. Cable is a little more rigid than my other cables which made them a little harder to pack up but that might be something you're looking for in a studio setup where the cables aren't being moved around all the time. Unfortunately, our setup required a fair amount of plugging in and unplugging and sadly these cables only lasted about 3 weeks before they started cutting out. To be clear, there was no damage to the cable and no visible wear and tear and the end connecting to the mics had no visible damage. However, when plugging in the SM58's this last weeek, the connection began which started solid began to degrade and a few times while recording, the cables simply fell from the mics. SM58's are the industry standard so maybe they were designed for other XLR connections besides these? Either way, I gave them away and had to try a new cable solution. Good look and feel initially and I really wanted to like these cables but I just can't recommend them for a professional setup. But with a little lighter use scenario and with a setup that doesn't get changed up all the time, maybe these cables can work great for you. This provided pretty good sound but there was a small amount of interference. It would be fine for something loud like a music show but something smaller like a quiet podcast, you might want to spend a little more for a higher quality one. More interference occurs if the cable is touched or touches against the wrong environment too.I have been using this for over a year now and it is a great cable for longer runs if you plan on keeping it connected for a while. The cable itself works great but it can get tangled easily and can be a pain to wind back up. If you are a mobile DJ and will be winding them back up after each use then I would recommend getting a non braided cable. Only rated 3 stars because it's a little harder to work with is all.I bought this cable to connect a Slingstudio hub to a digital audio mixer. The result was that the audio was fine on Apple devices but there was no audio on android devices. This phenomena had me baffled for a while until I got a suggestion that the problem could be caused by the audio cable between the two devices. Sure enough, when I substituted this cable with a regular XLR microphone cable the problem was immediately solved. the lesson learned? Do not use this particular cable for streaming applications. It might work fine as a microphone cable but I haven't tried it for that yet."Perfect" for all these reasons:1) The durability. The tough fabric lasts longer than plastic, more flexible, too.2) The color. The red color instantly tell you which cord you're using, which can be confusing when all other cords are usually black.3). The price. Really worth the money.Well, there you have it!!I am a videographer and I got these to run to my lavalier mics. I love the way they look and feel. Sound quality is there 100% and I never worry about coiling them up and throwing them back in my pelican because they are in the exact same shape every time I pull them back out. Great design and quality, I would highly recommend it.That being said, the cables work and are the proper length, and no issue with packaging. It said I was expecting it January 10th, but I got it in late December. It's almost February and the status still hasn't updated. Not sure if that's on the seller or on Amazon.Basically if you have a cat that ends up gnawing on your XLR cables a lot and you want something that has a better chance of surviving against animal nibbles, these are good to go with. But that being said train your cat (or other pets) to not do so.久々クリティカルヒット大外れ。これは最低だろ。今まで1番早く壊れた気がする。ダメだこれ。汗。次はないなこれ
