This wireless microphone setup far exceeds it's cost. I am very impressed with the quality of the materials as well as the sound of the system. The sound is full and deep with lots of bass, the microphones pick up vocals very well. I haven't had any issues with feedback or reception. I have tested the distance to a little over 100' at a venue and still had great reception. Very impressed with this setup so far.I used the system for the first time tonight at a wedding out on a farm in north jersey. So there's not much going in in the way of interference. I dialed in four different frequencies and sound checked all the mics. My plan was to use 3 of the mics for vocalists and 1 for guest speeches/toasts. I liked the idea of having a 4th mic dedicated for toasts so that I can preset some eq and don't have to ride the gain and faders when someone holds the mic a foot away from their mouth. We gave the mic to a guest for a toast and right away it started cutting in and out. 10' away from the receiver with line of sight. Had to swap it out, totally unprofessional looking. And I'm sorry to say, but there is not enough gain before feedback with these mics. I was hoping these mics would replace a Shure SLX with a Beta 58a and two AKG Perception wireless handhelds. The Shure has way more gain available before feedback is even an issue. I could not get the SoundTown mic up enough for guests to hear it and there were multiple frequencies that would start to creep in once it started feeding back. The Shure system is much more accommodating with someone holding the mic away from their mouth.Once that was over, we went into a short dance set and this is when things really got embarrassing. All I can say is that the system freaked out, squealed, moaned and shrilled through the PA speakers to the point where the band had to keep playing the requested top 40 tunes without any vocals. I frantically dialed down faders and muted the channels, hoping to preserve at least one mic for the duration of the dance set, but that didn't work, still screeching. Fortunately, I had the Shure and AKG mics still in the rack so it took a few minutes to patch them back in and swap the cables, but finally my heart rate started to level out and we were back in business. Totally unprofessional.I really had high hopes for this system. When you get the box, it is impressive. Everything is well packaged and looks professional/high end. The mics are robust and heavier than what you would expect. The digital electronics are impressive and seem to work well, except every now and then, I wouldn't see the "on" or "off" words on the mics, it would just be a blank lit up screen. I should also note that the sibilance with P's and S's are really noticeable with these mics.If you are planning to use these mics in a professional, exposed setting, you may want to look elsewhere. Returning for a refund.Bought this for my wife’s Karaoke event and she’s extremely pleased with the purchase. First and foremost, it is fairly easy to set up. The mics were paired with the receiver when they came out of the package and no extra setting was needed. Power on the receiver and mics and then you are all good to go.The sound quality is incredible. We own a couple of wired mics too and occasionally when rubbing them, the mics start picking up the rubbing noises. We can barely hear any rubbing sound when using the NESO ones. Plus, being untethered is really convenient. You can walk around in the room, range is good and there has been no drop out at all.Love the mics so far and if things change, I will come back and update it.I am very pleased with this product from Sound Town. The mics work well in our church. I really like the fact it has 200 channels so interference isn't a problem. The only drawback I can see is this - in order to mount it in our rack we'll have to purchase antenna extenders. We use this for karaoke and they sound really really good, but they drain the battery so quickly. we used two sets of battery for each microphone that come out to be 16AA batteries within 4hrs. I really want to give this 5 stars rating but battery is not cheap. I guess the good thing is that I don't use this every day.The mikes sometimes looses the frequency and has to be resetI have used many brands of microphones (AKG, Shure, Audio Technica, etc.) and I must say that the Soundtown I purchased for church are awesome. They are great for singing and presenting. I am glad I purchased the Soundtown system and will definitely recommend and purchase them again.I have to have he receiver behind a wall and the reception is not great. It keeps breaking up.
