UPDATE: The battery won't charge. I haven't popped it open yet to see if it's a simple watch battery or something that has to be soldered in. I pulled out the headphone from the headband to make sure I was getting good contact, but no red light to let me know it's charging.Pros: looks like a headband, good battery life.Cons: micro usb connection is awkward. No padding on the speakers. Not for side sleepers.I own 10 other headband headsets. All of those have the weird patch on top, which is a nerd dead giveaway. This is fine for a guy, not so much for a gal. I bought this one because it looks like an actual headband so it blends with street clothes better.It takes a 3 second hold of the button for the Bluetooth to come alive. It pairs like every other headband headset in that it pairs as voice on a windows machine. You have to disconnect and reconnect in settings to get the music part. I haven’t used it until it dies yet, so I don’t know how it behaves when it runs out of juice. (UPDATE: It starts nagging you at about 20% battery to charge like all the other over the ear headphones) the others die and we find out when the speakers start blasting, which isn’t fun at 5am on a sleep in day.I’m primarily pairing this with a computer with a decent sound card, so it sounds really good. I thought it was better than my other 10 headbands, but it sounds like the first on I bought in 2020.I haven’t slept with these on. They aren’t padded at all, and the on/off button is on the side, which means it won’t be my goto headset for sleep use.
