Overall, the sound quality seems to be on par with other similar communications earpieces that I have used on movie sets and with my ham radio HT. The unfortunate thing about ham radio HTs is that they tend to have the earphone breakout on the remote microphone. This has enough cable to route under your clothes to the remote microphone. Our club does nearly monthly events where we handle emergency communications in sometimes noisy environments and having a good earpiece helps tremendously.
