Frequency Range 65-108 MHz (Only commercial FM radio reception), VHF 136-174 MHz (Rx/TX), UHF 400-520 MHz (Rx/TX).

Note Factory defaults frequency is 140-150/430-440MHz (8W Output), please reset the radio to reach 136-174/400-470MHz or program it to reach 470-520MHz (The software is the same as GT-3 Mark-II).

This is my 3rd Baofeng and by far the best. Clearly the jump to 8w is helping according to other amateur radio operators I talk with alot. Antenna much easier to work with. I love the toggle button to go from VFO to MR. Never understood why Baofeng has you turn off the radio first with other models. I had read there were issues with the hand mic not working and at first it didnt. But I will say it is a snug fit. Don't be afraid to push hard the first time until it snaps in. Works like a charm now. And after that first connection, it gets easier afteward. You will need to do the same with the programming cable. Great Radio!!!
